IMPORTANT: Currently in the browser version, pressing Backspace in the Archipelago text entry fields will tell your browser to go back to the previous page. To remove text from text boxes, move the cursor to the start of the text field and press Delete. The last character may stay behind, but it will be overwritten when you start typing.

---

The basic concept is simple. You're given a Bumper in the bottom-right. Click on one of the Launchers surrounding the field to launch the Bumper into it. It'll first move in the direction launched, then bump into a wall or another Bumper and start moving in the direction on the Bumper itself. Match three of the same colour horizontally or vertically to clear them off.

However, as you stick more Bumpers, more colours will start showing up. As you score more points, you'll get Paint Cans to help alleviate that by changing any Bumper into any colour in play that you want. The game ends when every Launcher on the field is jammed.

---

But wait, there's more! This version also plugs into Archipelago Multiworld, so you can try a whole new challenge with your friends! New features include:

  • A task-based level system; complete five levels to win
  • Turners will change the direction of your Bumpers
  • Task Advances let you skip those more difficult tasks
  • Treasure Bumpers and Bonus Boosters send items to your friends and give you score and multiplier bonuses

Check out the setup guide for all the details on how to play in Archipelago mode.

Hey just as a heads up, I was playing it just for fun to check it out, and when a new color got added I realized a Problem, that being with my particular form of colorblindness (protanopia) it's almost entirely indistinguishable from one of the three colors the game starts out with. the strategy most games use to help wouldn't quite apply here, since most match-3 games just use a different symbol on the different colors, but I did want to let you know that it might be an accessibility concern to look into at some point

Colourblind mode is something I’m planning on doing. At the moment, I’m working on an internal restructure to clean up the code and make future game modes easier to implement, and then I’ll be looking further into accessibility features, including this and gamepad support.

Good to hear! Just figured I'd let you know, I hope that all goes well!

the X button to change your mind about your choice of paint can colors doesn't seem to do anything?

…Huh, how’d that happen? All right, thanks for letting me know. I’ll get that fixed.

EDIT: Wow, that was a dumb bug. The fix will be going live in the next 15 or so minutes.

It worked, thanks!  Loving the game btw.

I’m glad to hear it ^__^

Great to see the game online! I'll have to try out the Archipelago mode when I have time to figure out how it works.
